General and Specific Assessment

OPEN FRIENDS carries out general assessment to give an impression about the child’s case and make recommendations. Specific assessments are done after daily child behaviour observations for proper diagnosis, specific needs identified and appropriate intervention recommended.

Most children with special needs will be recommended for different therapies. However, it can be challenging to find an appropriate environment for these therapies to be done effectively hence the setting up of Open Friends. In a sensory stimulating environment,
