Education
Education Assessment
At the center, a wide variety of methods and tools are used to evaluate, measure, and document the academic readiness, learning progress, skill acquisition, or educational needs of children. A child’s specific learning strengths and needs are determined, and a conclusion made whether or not a child is eligible for special education services.
Individualised Education Plan (IEP)
This is developed for each child based on their need and appropriate decisions made about the child's educational placement, in consultations with parents/ guardians.
Specialized Education Instructions
Because students with special needs have various areas that require individual services and therapies including cognitive, emotional, physiological and social needs, we pay attention to each area in order to provide each student with the individual care including adapting the content, approach or delivery of instruction needed to reach their fullest potential.
Mainstream Inclusion
Children are prepared for mainstream inclusion. Appropriate schools are identified and recommendations made to the parents/ guardians.
- Coginitive stimulation in attention and concetration, memory, problem solving, judgement etc
- Selfcare training eg self feeding, bowel and blader control, bathing self, toilet traing, dressing, self grooming, washing etc
- Training delayed developmental milestones eg sitting, crawling,walking,standing, and walking
